Upon locating cancer behind Sashina’s eye, doctors were forced to remove it and give her a prosthetic. However the story behind the rationale is what we believe makes the story unique.
When Sashina was in the womb, her mother and father had a fight. During this fight, her father threw a padlock at her mother and hit her in the eye. They believe that the negative energy from the injury, transfered to the fetus, was the cause of Sashina’s eye cancer. Although this is an unconventional explanation, childhood ocular cancer is just as rare.
We think we know everything there is to know about medical science, but this is a case where there may be something else at work. Either way, Sashina is alive and well, and is one of our biggest supporters during our mission trips. She’s always there to give us a smile and brighten our long days.
